HealthMe is a marketplace platform that allows patients to shop for healthcare like they shop for any other product: digitally. Think Shopify for healthcare. Before A.Team, HealthMe’s marketing website was a barebones landing page. The polished site showcases HealthMe’s Good Faith Estimate generator, which uses their database to bring clinician practices into compliance with the recently enacted No Surprise Billing Act. It’s a tool that makes them stand out from the crowd of healthcare marketplaces. Not long after the site was built, HealthMe partnered with a leading orthopedic bracing company to launch a direct-pay eCommerce engine.

MVP for a care management app for women's healthcare
1 in 10 women have PCOS, however the current standard of care doesn't meet their needs. This leaves many women struggling with infertility, obesity, and mental health disorders. Allara set out to solve this with an A.Team by creating an initial prototype for a holistic care management platform that brings together the best of expert based telemedicine, medication management, and lifestyle and nutrition coaching.

HealthEx is creating a health data sharing exchange that's ethical, transparent, and thoughtfully curated in ways that best serve health systems and patients and enable the next wave of precision medicine. They brought in an experienced blockchain engineer from A.Team to build the first iteration of their product. The data exchange built mitigates coordination and data provenance challenges by implementing fractional ownership. And their blockchain-based applications support greater transparency around data sharing.

Building a digital-first caregiver assistant
CaringWire is on a mission to redefine family caregiving by empowering a proactive approach for managing non-clinical aspects of care—i.e. the social determinants of health. They brought in A.Team to help reimagine their user experience as most of their patients are older and less tech-savvy. The goal? Build a text-based communication system that will help change patterns and promote healthier lifestyles for those at risk. After its UX lift, CaringWire announced a collaboration with Mark Cuban’s Cost Plus Drug Company to make healthcare more accessible and transparent.
