Here's how we help you build and manage top 1% teams

We have a multi-step, distributed vetting process. We are an invite-only community, and have a Talent Growth team dedicated to finding world-class builders. Additionally, around 30% of our builders are actually referred by other A.Team members.

Once referred or invited to our community, every builder submits an application which is then reviewed by our team. Following the application, the builders undergo an interview and a sample work of their work is reviewed by a functional area specialist (developers review code of developers, designer reviews portfolios of designers, etc.). This is followed by or coupled with a personal/communication skills interview.

Lastly, we do mission-specific vetting as well to ensure we are sending you a team proposal with the most relevant builders, aligned with the skills and expertise you need for your mission.

It typically takes us around 5 business days to propose a team once your team spec and mission has been approved.

When you're ready to scale your team up (or down), just let us know and we will be happy to assist. If requesting a new team member, you can add the additional role to your existing team spec. We will then work with you to align on the specifics regarding role requirements and you will undergo the same process as before (proposal review, interviews if necessary, kick-off and deployment).

Luckily, removing a team member is also easy. All you have to do is let the team member know that your engagement is coming to an end, and work together to come up with a mutually agreeable off-boarding plan. We can then facilitate in either replacing them or simply ending their engagement with you on our platform.

Yes! If both you and your A.Teamer decide that going full-time is the best path forward, we are happy to facilitate the process and make the transition as seamless as possible. We enable you to hire an A.Team member with a contract-to-hire placement fee.

Our TeamGraph gets smarter with each team. After 200+ A.Teams in the wild, our platform and Team Formation Specialists are exceptionally skilled at forming high-performing teams, usually on the first try. As a result, many of our clients actually kick-off directly with their A.Team without an interview first, since they have so much confidence in the strength of the team. But yes, once you receive your Team Proposal, you will certainly have a chance to interview the team members and do any additional vetting that you wish.

Our community of builders is 5000+ strong, with world-class builders hailing from the likes of Google, Facebook, Amazon, and Uber as well as other fast-growing startups, spanning product management, design, engineering, data science and growth marketing.

We have A.Team members across almost every continent, however the majority are concentrated throughout North America, Europe and Israel in order to ensure overlap in working hours with our clients across these geographies. On average, we see A.Teamers typically commit around 20-25 hours per week to each mission they are on.

We see that our missions last on average from 6-18+ months. You have full flexibility to work with A.Teamers for as long (or short) as you wish — many A.Teams have built our clients' entire core products, and we have builders who have been with clients for 20+ months.

You will sign a direct contract with us that governs your relationship with A.Team and the services we provide. Additionally, you will sign a direct contract with each individual team member that ensures all IP is yours, you have complete confidentiality, etc. Your relationship is directly with them — we are the facilitation engine, but not the employer.
