A.Team brought in a product leader, Martin Strutz (founder of and.co, later acquired by Fiverr), to craft the product vision for a delivery app that would create a delightful experience for its small format coffee shops. Our goal is to use improvisation to help people be better at … fill in the blank: Relationships, communications, public speaking, making each other feel good. We think this is a great tool to help people understand each other.
Led by actor-host Wayne Brady and ex-Second City president Steve Johnston, FLS Plus is a new venture with a vision to build the Masterclass for improv, helping corporate clients shape more creative and empathetic leaders. To create the vision for this platform, A.Team brought in a veteran product leader to help set the vision for the educational platform, and then brought together an A.Team of a software architect, product designer, and UX expert to bring it to life.

Accrue Savings Founder & CEO Michael Hirschfield had a vision: to launch a product that would serve as an antidote to predatory buy-now-pay-later products, allowing consumers to save up instead. But as a non-technical founder, he needed a product lead and team to bring his vision to life. A.Team brought on veteran CTO Ambrose Krapacs to help shape Hirschfield’s vision and build a world-class team. Within 6 months, Accrue Savings had gone to market with a game-changing product, signed up key retail partners, and raised $25M in funding.

We worked hard to meet the increased demand for digital products brought on by the pandemic. McGraw Hill continues to adapt to the changing times by delivering learning tools that are not only cutting-edge but also affordable and accessible.
McGraw Hill wanted to take study guides out of the analog age and into the TikTok era. A.Team CPO-in-residence Jared Cocken to prototype SHARPEN—McGraw Hill’s “TikTok for textbooks” app. Students loved it—as did the board—and the team expanded to 27 as they built the full app. Sharpen launched in the fall of 2022 with great fanfare, skyrocketing up the app store charts and transforming how thousands of students study.
